All of the science behind the lockdowns is opinion based.

And pushed by the media as fact.

Experts are cheaper to buy than politicians.

It is most certainly not opinion based.
It is feelings and emotions based.

I mean if less people are out and about it seems reasonable that it would slow down a virus. The problem is that it’s not worth people losing their jobs

Is slowing the virus even desirable? Would the virus burn out more quickly without these social controls? Would the death toll then be lower?
Just to explain this comment.
Illness that are too deadly burn out quickly, and ultimately are less serious because of that. You’ll never have an Ebola Pandemic because it kills people too quickly. Covid appears to be fairly contagious, but not that lethal.
My concern is that we’re artificially prolonging the epidemic, by keeping the rates of transmission lower.

There’s no data that shows that these controls will reduce the death count.
It’s based on the assumption that they will.
You can assume that they slow transmissions rates. But that may not be desirable.

If we can control the masses then we win. Hello communism. Pretty fricking simple.

That's your dumbass opinion.

This isn't always true. After NY had locked down for a while, it discovered that most of the people getting sick had stayed home and rarely left their apartments.

Slowing the virus is the worst thing we ever have tried, it completely destroys any chance of developing immunity there by giving the virus an inexhaustible supply of fresh bodies to infect, let it run its course it would have burnt out in just a few months.

But that means it would have been over before the election. That wasn’t going to be allowed to happen. Before anyone responds with a smart arse comment about the election being over... it’s still technically not over.

It bears repeating over and over and over again until more people question this ridiculous failed experiment that isn’t working
