No worry about an upgrade, with the vast amount of money saved not having to support humans for the Telescope we could just create 10 more space telescopes and still have money leftover for other stuff.

I’d rather spend money the money on people. Nobody is going to be excited about NASA until they do something cool again.

You are assuming they are looking for radio communications.
They aren’t.
They are looking for EM emissions. They could be from a radio, or some other device as a side effect to the original function.

It's a picture and not a photo. As are, most of NASA's presentations. You have to 'sell' space to short attention/CGI loving Americans.
