I use to fly in there once a quarter because I had a large account there
I pretty much just went to a hole in the wall seafood joint and spent a shite ton of beer and crawfish.
When it wasn't in season I would go to BWW. That's all I got
All kidding aside, I was very impressed with the airport

Robbie G's or Swampdaddy's?

Well it was an air base for a long time, but it still gets used a lot for military transport, air freight, and prisoner transfers.

When I lived up there, we used to call Eddie's "Sysco BBQ" as all their sides and sauces were from a can. Unless something ahs changed, that is terrible BBQ. Outlaws used to have those giant pits that you could walk in and see them cooking through the glass.

I always chuckled at the sign for Alexandria International Airport. They fly to Mexico once a week or something?

damn, didn't know that about the sides. I try to stay at that Hampton off the Interstate and Eddie's is right there. It's annoying that only cracker barrell is off that exit

Yep B&B
Armpit of the State.
Pineville would be better if it wasn’t a dry town.

you think Alexandria is bad...go to Oakdale.
Sticking your head in an oven seems like a good idea there.

Is there anything to do in this boring hell hole?
Alexandria is easily the best town on the planet to live in year round.

I was pretty serious with this girl (and she was actually hot) but apparently not live in Alexandria serious. She insisted on living near her parents.
That sucks.
One of my siblings went to LC there and lived there for a few years after, so I went there a good bit and am sympathetic to it although not enough to want to live there. There's enough to like if you prefer a small town/rural setting and/or have a group of friends there. In that way it's actually okay, similar to say, Slidell or Hammond if they weren't close to Nola and BR.

I grew up there and it was GLORIOUS. I left, but my friends who stayed all have amazing places and big families. It's a nice place if you have money. I lived on Kincaid and had a ski boat...it was all pretty great.
