Alexander has died. It’s the start of the Diadochi period. What kingdom do you want?

Egypt: Probably the richest kingdom in the Medeterrainian at this time due to incredible agricultural profits, you’d be worshipped as a god. You’d also likely end up marrying your sister and your armies aren’t all that wonderful compared to other diadochi commanders.

Seleucid: Largest by far and some of the better armies of the period. MYbe richest overall. You live in Eastern opulence (you’ll have many a harem). You’ll also be in a state of constant war, including you’ll spend a lof if time fighting in India and Turkey

Antigonid: You own turkey! I think you own some of the Levant at first too. That’s about as much as I really know. Sorry, not an expert

Macedon: the smallest of the major diadochi and the poorest by a fair amount, the Macedonians were far more secure with a tighter grip on their neighbors. They were able to easily dominate their Greek vassals at this time and could be fairly competent armies. I don’t think they had to fight in nearly as many wars as the others. You could chill.

Macedonia for me. Less need to fighting. The kingdom is not as rich as the others, but you’re on top so who cares.

Depends on what your basing that on. The Seleucid empire had more highs and lows but it only ended 20 years before Egypt did.

I think this is the answer. Yes, a lot of wars, but many of them aggressively. If that was dialed back some (not all the way, must keep those armies sharp) and more diplomacy was used, you could do quite well there. I mean, working with Maurya rather than fighting might have made all the difference.

Alexander was considered a god in Egypt and Ptolemy had his body. Instant legitimacy and wealth in Egypt.

Romans took the Seleucids in 64BC, and the Parthians had already chewed them up pretty good over the previous couple of centuries.

Romans took Egypt 30BC.

I consider the fall of Egypt to be in 48 BC/47 BC.

Also, yeah, at the end, Seleucids weren’t very popular but their highs were much higher than other highs.

I'd go with the Dothraki.

Excellent horsemen and warriors, and they bang judies alllllllll the time.
