The guy should be in jail.

Well let’s not stop there, plenty of news anchors and folks on Twitter deserve jail.

Rittenhouse is one case.

Sandman is another.

I bet we can find thousands of these if we look hard enough.

You want to team up and find all the people that should be in jail? Or you just think Alex Jones should be in jail and don’t care about other people that have been harassed?

I'm all for it.

Words have meaning and consequences. If you cause irreparable harm to another party by false statements then you can be punished with damages or jail time. Both forms of action are punitive.

I'm not a leftist just because I deem Jones' actions despicable and worthy of punishment.

I'm guessing this was the argument that a lower court bought. But an appeals court will probably overturn on the fact that he (assumingly) didn't tell anyone to harass the families.

You have no idea how trials work do you?

That isn't how bankruptcy works at all.

Connecticut Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis awarded the families over $323 million in common law punitive damages for attorney’s fees and costs and $150 million in damages under a state law

Am I reading this wrong? The attorneys fees are over 60% of the total?
