Conspiracy
Some people claim the two men in the picture are the Anglin brothers. John and Clarence.
The picture is from 1975. Brazil. 12-years-after the escape.

Very little doubt in my mind that those baws made it out and lived a good bit of life afterwards.. Cant be 100% sure though .

I live here and take everyone there when they come to visit. It’s such a cool bit of history and it’s such a beautiful ride on the ferry. The plants are pretty amazing too. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to hear the sounds of the city but be stuck out in the ocean. The families that lived there are pretty bizarre too.

I've been to Alcatraz a couple of times. Pretty cool. I used to eat my breakfast cereal with a spoon I bought in the gift shop.

Josh Gates did an episode on Expedition Unknown, Discovery channel about their escape into Brazil recently. It was pretty convincing. They even went into the village in Brazil of where they apparently made it to and found some evidence.
