Alabama teen killed his mother and twin brothers before going to school

The victims' son and older brother, 16-year-old Landon Durham, faces a capital murder charge in all three killings, Talladega County District Attorney Steve Giddens told CNN affiliate WBRC.
Durham is being charged as an adult.

unless it's the 1 in 10M crazy gene, severe abuse is almost always the culprit
i'd wager there was sexual abuse along with the almost guaranteed physical/psychological abuse

I cant let you guys speculate. I knew her. She was a very bright and beautiful woman. This isnt a case of "white trash." They had a great support system. Lived on a family farm. It has been really hard to process. The suspect was highly intelligent. Everyone is looking for answers.

Obviously something was wrong. As another poster said, these things come down to a few issues, typically. No one suspected any issues. The kid was in the gifted class, etc. I am sure details will come out during trial, but there isnt even any rumors ATM. I just know the mother was always a kind soul. I never heard her even cuss.
