After the first 5-7 it was it was child abuse. Before it was aggressive but I’ve experienced that with no issues. 25 she’s a psycho.

I received my share of whipping. I never perceived any if them as anything other than discipline (i.e., not a parent venting their anger)

Lots of what-if reasoning went on - And I think that was part of the punishment.

My mom had a belt called “The Persuader”. Worked. Oh and a bat as we got older. Never got hit with the bat because by that time “The Persuader” never got used that much. All that was needed was the threat.

Pretty shitty display of anger. Im all for teaching a child by spanking if necessary but that was a bit much for the reason.
On a side note, thats probably the most calories shes burned in quite a while.

There is a stark difference between discipline and what she did. I got a couple belt whippings as a kid, but it was controlled and had a purpose, 3 licks and done.
If she had done that, there wouldn't be an issue here.

I got my arse beat a lot as a child but my parents were never vindictive like this woman seems to be. They also never used foul language while they were spanking me.

I grew up with a mom like this. She was unable to control her anger and her physical punishments were always due to a loss of emotional control on her part.
I remember sitting next to her in the front seat of the car when she was driving. I was probably 9? We were talking and something I said set her off and she took her fist and pounded my forearm repeatedly. It was black and blue for days. To this day I have no recollection of what I said to set her off.
One time she beat my brother with a chain link dog leash. I remember that beating, but have no recollection of what he did that lead to her reaction.
I have a 13 year old son that I’ve never laid a hand on, and he’s a great kid.
I haven’t spoken to my mother in a year because, even at 65, she’s still unable to control her emotions and anger and she still lashes out at us verbally and via text. frick all that. I hope the mom in that video does time. Maybe she’ll get some therapy and eventually be able to apologize and repair the relationship with her kids.
