Damone is a simpleton left wing populist. All he knows is chants and slogans. Not one time on this site has he defended anything he's said. He's simply a drive by

They had to do something. They put millions out of work. They should've never shut anything down to begin with. That's where they screwed up.

I understand. That's like saying the portion of employer paid health insurance is part of your comp

I stopped doing LLCs for clients last year because the first one was sketchy so I just retired for a bit. I had no desire to get caught up in conspiracy/ wire fraud.

I dont think you do understand. You are paying into social security. None of your money ever goes into unemployment insurance.

Now i could see where if companies didnt have to pay that they could pay employees more. But its not coming out of your current paycheck.

True, but the programs were a boondoggle from the start. Set up for failure. The temptation to scam was too great for many.

One issue that will take years to shake out is that one mechanism allowed people to post to various States using the same wages due to the PUA program. I was an investigator, some people made millions. Some people couldn't collect because other people found they could open accounts in their name.

What?

Just let it go. He'll never own it.

There is only a very few states that require any employee contribution. Ours is capped at $199 a year.

Hence why you see people on here seething mad about a woman using EBT to purchase candy and chips for her kids, yet ignoring the monumentally huge welfare and subsidies provided to corporations.

The subsidies provided to corporations are for bringing in jobs and et to the economy. Those jobs would go somewhere else. Look at Austin v. California as an example. It’s a reward for doing work and providing for the betterment of community. The EBT is rewarded for doing nothing and making no effort to get a job. It’s a reward for doing nothing productive. It leads to further complacency and hopelessness for those receiving it and is a vote buying scheme. Seems like a logical difference, but that may not be something you can see.

Every time, some a-hole wants to turn the welfare/unemployment/food stamp thread into the corporate welfare thread.
Every damn time.

Left wing populism is the arena of jealousy. They justify their theft by being angry at people more successful than they are. Basic deflection technique, but also personal justification for their theft.

It’s easy to blame poor people but the real problem are the banks lending the fiscally irresponsible middle class way to much money for outrageous car notes and mortgages. The rich will be okay if they invest wisely but will def take a short term hit when the middle class can no longer pay their bills.
