I'm not opposed to capital punishment from a moral standpoint. My problem is that since I believe the government and the justice system foul up almost everything they touch, I have a hard time believing that executing the appropriate person is the one area that they're rock solid.

The only flaw with capital punishment is that it takes too long go through the appeals process. Yeah, we'll probably screw up and put a couple innocent ol baws to death, but chances are they weren't good people anyway.
