I don't really care if the prisoners death is peaceful. I'm sure the death he inflicted on others wasn't peaceful either

Was this the one that needed to happen very soon or the lethal drug was going to expire? Or was that another state......

I think that was another state. I think they did 3 and I think it was Arkansas.

Sounds like the execution took place about 23 years too late.

Who in their right mind could ever say this killer didn't deserve to die. I can't stand the anti-death penalty crowd.

I have no idea why they don't use what veterinarians use. When we put my dog down in 2011, she took 4 breaths and that was it. It took less than 30 seconds.

Pentobarbital (which is what the poster is describing) is used elsewhere (TX for example).

However, the suppliers (which are Euroweenies) refuse to sell it to states for use in executions (they would prefer to give them three hots and a cot for life, if not release them back into the streets). So some states have had to switch to alternate methods.

Personally I'd refer steel cable. Sturdy and reusable. (With Styx' "Renegade" playing when the deed is about to be done)

Last meal was a 3-piece white, spicy, w/ red beans and rice and Cajun fries.

Should have brought him some Popeyes for his last meal. Whether he wanted it or not.

There should be a time limit on Death row inmates. If they are not executed within so many years, something much change with their sentence.

23 years is too long. This process cost millions
