You do realize they will also take into consideration that they illegally pursued him and laid in wait for him right? He does have the right to defend himself from someone who is armed and pursuing him illegally.

I always found it funny that they tried to argue Arbery turning towards the armed son at the front of the truck is in this bubble and that means "self-defense" for the son.

Because we should willfully ignore these guys pursued him for quite some time via multiple trucks, all armed, and literally waited to ambush him when they got ahead of him.

LOL I really don't give a rats rear what people think of me.

Lets try this again class:

Did Arbery make a sudden left turn in front of the pic-up truck and bull rush the defendant?

Yes or no?

It's actually inconclusive. We see him turn on video but there's no evidence he "rushed" because the front of the truck actually blocks that.

Well then, that's it. Case closed. Nothing else to consider.

The lengths some of y'all will go to defend these guys. Embarrassing.

I’m not defending shite. The poster asked a simple yes/no question. Nothing more or less.

I’m not disagreeing. I was just answering the yes/no question without adding my commentary.

And he got his answer. Which is a small fraction of the case and doesn't reinforce the "self-defense" narrative that he's clearly trying to push.

I don’t care what he is trying to push. I was just answering the question.

And because you are so emotional, you jump to the conclusion I’m defending anything or pushing an agenda.

But you do you. Carry on.

Annnd there is the answer. Thank you.

Now what do you think the defense is going to argue?

If and that is a huge if, the defendants get a fair trail, the most the defendant get is some sort of involuntary man-slaughter charge(what ever applies in GA law).

So you think the only thing that matters is that he turned towards a man that was trying to cut him off with a shotgun?

I don’t disagree, but I have not once commented on this case ever.

I legit was just answering the question. I’m sure the jogger was fearing for his life and made what he thought was his best choice.

Conjecture on my part regardless.

It also doesn’t include killing someone when you get into a scuffle that you caused through stupid illegal actions.
They had no legal authority to detain Arbery. None. He took prudent actions multiple times over to avoid a confrontation. Until they blocked the road and the son dismounted with a weapon. Arbery was not the contributing factor here.
