They are going for a completely different audience than WWE. The younger crowd doesn't mind the sjw stuff plus they still have more traditional types for the older fans.

MJF and Adam Page are the two most interesting wrestlers in this promotion, to me. Moxley/Omega/Cody/the bucks are obviously bigger names, but I think MJF and Hangman will be the bigger stars in three years.

MJF and Hangman Page are both in their early 20s and future top face and heel. I don't think WWE even has anyone in NXT around that age they can say that about.

MJF looks damn good. don't know much about Page, but so far so good.
The Bucks are a really good gimmick/tag team. no one outside of wrestling fans has a clue who Omega is. Cody is a mid-carder with a legendary last name.
Moxley and Jericho are the names who will draw in a mainstream audience when they're on TNT. they are the real "money" guys AEW has.
