Hard for me to get into this....I got no connection, good or bad, to any of these characters other than a little of what Cody, the Bucks, and Omega did on NJPW...and Ambrose but who knows what his character is now other than a puffed up guy that comes in through the crowd and kicks arse.....so basically the Shield.

that's what these shows... like Fyter Fest & Fight for the Fallen... are for

introducing the new AEW audience to all of these guys... let you start to get invested in their characters and see their in-ring talents before the storylines begin in earnest at either All Out or when AEW's weekly show on TNT begins

and FWIW... I think with tonight's "non-sanctioned" match... I think you'll see peak Jon Moxley

his best stuff was deathmatch... and that what you'll get tonight against Joey Janela... who is another deathmatch guy

Is it actually "free" or do you need a paid subscription? I thought this was free in the sense that WWE ppvs were free with your $9.99 a month subscription.

A weird combination of legit pro wrestlers (Cody, Hangman Page, Moxley, MJF) and “outlaw mud show” types (Darby Allin, Janela, Havok).

I'm slightly intrigued by AEW, but Moxley is incredibly overrated, imo. None of the Shield guys have ever impressed me much.

This is a complete reinvention of his character and wrestling style though. You can basically forgot about what you saw Dean Ambrose do in WWE.

I believe it’s free-free. You just have to sign up for BR Live. No credit card entry required.

you have to have a BR Live account... but I simply did that by logging in through my Facebook account... took about 2 seconds to do... haven't put in any kind of credit card info whatsoever

Moxley & Allin wrestled at an indie up north

Moxley hit him the new version of Dirty Deeds (now called "Death Rider"?)... Moxley had Allin almost completely vertical and dropped him on the top of his head

looked almost like the backdrop suplexes Orton delivered to the Singh Bros... where he didn't realize he'd lift him so high and yet he did

I thought BRL was a paid thing. That was the whole point of them putting AEW on there, to sell subscriptions. Maybe they're just giving this show out for free to get people hooked. I know they're charging for it in England.

You can't build characters having a show every 4-5 weeks.....at least not effectively

I'll watch when it cranks up on TNT.

I did watch that match on YouTube...it was atrocious....Allin looked like a guy that was jumping off his mom's roof last week....and Moxley couldn't carry him (probably not his fault cause Allin couldn't sell shite)....it was rough....the setting of a HS gym didn't help.

ETA Allin seems like a guy that tries to get over on facepaint and weird promos (which sometimes work)......but eventually the bell rings

They've been building characters and stories on youtube. Its spread across multiple channels though, they really should consolidate it somehow.
