fr Lemoine was at CHS in the early 80s.
I was there in the early 80's - don't remember him. I do remember Mrs. Lemoine the French teacher though.....smoking hot.

And all during that time, and before that, he was molesting children. That’s difficult to reconcile and when I first heard of the allegations against him it was a large portion of why I’m no longer a practicing catholic if you’ve never been betrayed like that it’s hard to understand. I considered him a friend and coupled with the childhood awe we all had for the priesthood it just doesn’t make any sense
Realize this: These guys don’t become priests because of a religious calling. These guys become priests because it gives them access to boys, an aura of authority to control them and others, and the perception that they would never do such a thing for deniability.
Understand it’s not the Catholic Church promoting it. It’s a wolf putting on sheep's clothing. However, hiding it was very wrong. That’s a whole other topic.
Don’t let it shake your faith. He used the Catholic Church as cover.

Yep - that's him. Was my religion teacher freshman year. I don't remember him being there that long though. Maybe another year and then he was gone I think.

Brother Francis (and other faculty and staff) knew that we were spending time outside of school with Fr Dan. …They knew, and they did nothing

When school administrators confronted Lemoine about his tendency to fraternize with ninth and 10th graders, he acknowledged how it could raise suspicions and cause “false impressions," the report said. But the priest denied any sexual misconduct with students. Still, school officials terminated Lemoine's contract
I get it that you feel deceived, but it’s pretty clear that they fired the guy even without evidence of direct abuse. I’m not really sure what else you wanted them to do here.

That guy would show up at my house during the summer. I’d have 5 or 6 friends over playing basketball and he’d come try to play with us totally unsolicited. Mom came out and all kinds of red flags went off. She sent him packing.
Same with father Dan. She saw the article in the advocate. Reminded me that Dr. Dan wanted to take a few of us to the French quarter at some point. No way she was letting that happen. Thanks mom!

I took french as my foreign language there - I remember her being not super attractive but also that she smelled bad. There was an english teacher while I was there that everyone thought was super hot. Can't remember her name or what grades she taught. There were rumors after I graduated that she had hooked up with a 12th grader at some point but no one really knew and I can't recall the time frame of those rumors.

WTF?
Gail had a banging body. Lisa was prettier with a nice arse but was flat-chested. After one Summer break she closed the chest gap with Gail.

I think that might have been Miss Mosher. The story was that she hooked up with one of the boys on a European summer trip.

Yep - that’s her. I remember her being smoking hot. Then a semester or 2 into being at LSU I remember seeing her at The Varsity and was like - yea not as hot now. Still banging but not close to some of the talent walking around the quad on a nice day.

Who the frick does this?
Kids of all religions involved with their church or faith based school? A good school priest or pastor is no different than a youth minister at a protestant church/school.
They both can be very effective at relating to and gaining the trust of kids. Unfortunately, by nature, these jobs also attract closet predators. The main difference in the media coverage of these fricktards is that the Catholic church has a centralized, single entity governing body that keeps meticulous records and makes an easy target. This isn't a knock on Protestant's or any other religion, but its easier to avoid being targeted when there is no large institution to take the blame or the media scrutiny, That doesn't mean the same fricktards aren't doing fricktard things with them every bit as often.

She had a fantastic body - I don't think there's any question about that. Face I guess you might could quibble but I thought it was pretty enough with the tight body.
Don't remember the stinking part but apparently more than one person says it was an issue.
