re: Adults on skate boards

Since I started this thread a long time ago I’ve noticed a big surge in electric skateboards as well as electric scooters and bikes. Almost no one rides anything anymore that requires human power. The electric bikes are dangerous as hell. They’re too fast for the sidewalks. I’ve almost hit a few people in the last month.

I wish I could skateboard to work

Not quite everyone, just the losers who would be impressed by a kickflip.

Never skateboarded in my life until I bought my kids Penny boards. Pretty soon I was looking for errands to run so I could take one of their boards. I ended up buying a longboard. It’s a lot of fun and I wish I had the healing ability of a younger person so I could try more. I’m content with just pushing around every once and awhile.

To stir the pot even more, Vans make a difference.
