You are right.

I am the dumb parent for thinking my 9 month old wasn’t ready for a regular seatbelt

You are such a clown sometimes

Like I said, lose the seatbelt, add a helmet. Boom, you're child is golden. Why do think retards wear helmets all the time.

You’re the dumb parent for referencing a study without looking at the study.

What do you think about the study?

Yeah that’s idiotic.

I would post the videos of crash dummies with/without car seats but I rather play fortnite with my son.

What do I think about teds 18 minutes study?

I didn’t watch it

I said if Ted thinks 30” is safe like the poster said than Ted is retarded

If not Ted isn’t necessarily retarded, but I am not watching Teds 18 minute video to find out

Also, I can link you studies saying vaccines cause autism. I can link you studies saying the earth is flat

Being a parent is taking the wealth of all knowledge and weighing the risk and rewards

The risk analysis of taking your child out of a car seat at 2 years old is terrible, even if Ted says it isn’t. I have seen far more studies that have already pointed this out

So you don’t care about your kid’s safety? You don’t want to know what the data say about car seats vs seat belts?

and lol at “ted’s study”

What is TED Talk?
What is a Steven Levitt?

You come off as a real moron

If the baby isn't strapped in and bounces around the car, how will it get decapitated? The baby helmet will prevent head injuries. I'm going to fire up my CAD program and design a baby and a pug helmet.

As a matter of fact, I will do the alpha testing using pugs and a baseball bat. As for beta testing, nurse will help me with that.

He should stick to ball trimming threads. That's where he shines.

This is honestly one of your worst threads. Just poor

The fact I am getting upvotes when calling you out shows everything

Regroup and try again.

I’m not surprised you think this is an argument. Coming from the guy who doesn’t believe in reading studies and interpreting their results.

The study (and the video) explicitly state that there is no benefit for a child over the age of 2 to be in a car seat.

I agree that the study is fricking retarded based on this sentence. My son is 3. He'd be decapitated (internally or otherwise) if he was just wearing a regular seatbelt. My mom is 5'3" and the seatbelt rubs her neck. No way in fricking hell it's safe for a 3 year old.

I do agree that 8 is too old for a car seat, but anyone over 2? You and the "scientist" are full of shite.

Did you watch the crash test results? They didn’t arrive st a conclusion and then conduct the tests. I know it’s difficult for people from Louisiana to understand, but that’s not how science works.
