Does this mean they're perfectly fine sunroofs?

I have a 2004 Acura TL and never had one issue with the sunroof. I love that car

I have an 08 TL and an 02 RSX. No issues with either on anything in over 50K miles.

Have a 2019 RDX, sunroof broke about 3 months ago. Parts just came in about 2 weeks ago. They replaced it last week but had to do it twice cause first replacement didn’t work properly. Lucky i was on vacation so no big deal.

Dumb take. Every vehicle I’ve ever owned has had a sunroof and I’ve never had a single issue.

2022 Acura sales are down 50%, Honda is cutting output by 39% This is not a coincidence.

Is Acura giving you a loaner indefinitely until they get the parts to fix it under warranty?

By now, you could be wondering about your own car’s sunroof. Fortunately, Global News listed the cars with the most complaints of exploding sunroofs. The top 10 are as follows:

I am honestly surprised the top of the list brand isn't a Range Rover (any model). Not only do theirs explode they are guaranteed to leak (both from the edge of the roof and the drainage tubes) and the electronic control module must be made by Lucas.

This has always kind of been my philosophy. Some nice things on cars are worth the risk of breaking, but a sunroof? Never got it.

My sunroof exploded last year and dealer told me “yeah it happens sorry”.
Yeah well you guys are gonna replace it for free since it’s a 6 month old car.
You have to fight these bastards at dealers tooth and nail.

All their models get poor reviews. You get terrible performance for what you pay.

Wife is on her 5th car with a sunroof, never opened any of them, not even the sun shade. Never had a issue, but that may be due to never opening them. If you live in a gulf coast area, there are maybe two days a year where they might be usable.
