I have actually seen this, at the time you mentioned. His speech is a little off, but he still gets around well for a 90 year old.

Apparently Kaufman's time limit on the prank was 30 years. He either really died in 1984 or he's died since.

Bob Barker may not have much time left, if you believe one of the crappy "National Enquirer"-type websites. He apparently fell and hit his head last month and even though the doctors checked him out and said he was fine, "insiders" fear that he only has a couple months left...

Either way, he is 93 and has said that his desire is to give all of his money to animal rights groups and causes before he dies. He had no children, apparently has no relatives, and his wife has been dead for about 35 years. Kind of a sad way to check out, really.
