I get infuriatied watching there entitled mother frickers act like I owe them food and soft drinks or whatever.

We didn’t even starve during the Depression, before the welfare state. You do not have the moral superiority you think you do. Most of us would help someone in serious need. Most of us would feed a starving person who came to our door begging for food. We don’t even need the government for this. We as a society and people are not going to allow people to starve in a country with plenty of food. What will end is what needs to end. Who truly needs helped will be helped

Some people seem mostly annoyed by food stamps when there are numerous areas of government expenditure that should be considered much more controversial. I think food stamp money can help with the economy.
People rather let the food stamp spending piss them off the most. Food stamps consistently account for 1 to 1.5% of total federal spending. Which is still a ton of money. I just get more upset at what I perceive to be other government wasteful spending. I can get behind cutting out any of the fraud behind any of these programs.
My math could be off, but I believe the US gave the Ukraine nearly double the amount of money spent on food stamps.
I'm sure someone much smarter to me can justify that though and I am not being sarcastic. Still an absurd amount of money.

Handing over tax money doesn’t mean one cares or understands, but I know Dems like to believe how they vote and what they support absolves them of living too white and the kind of life they want to force others not to live.
It also doesn’t automatically mean you are helping the person. There would be no generational welfare recipients if this crap actually helped like it’s used by most. Before LBJ’s war on poverty black families were more likely to be headed by 2 parents than white families/homes. Welfare drove the 2 parent black family off a cliff.

Actually agree with you on this.
However, it does also impact those deserving of the benefit. Really wish realistic reform was possible

The problem is it’s 1000x harder to go backwards once you’ve gone a certain distance. I would think the best way would be a staggered approach to eliminate those who no longer qualify.
