what is an unarmed security guard going to do?
Where did he say unarmed? Security guards are armed here as well as off duty police officers working security details.

Unfortunately, one victim is a friend of ours. He is in serious condition. He is a Special Olympic athlete and just the friendliest person. Please pray for him and his parents.

The Mall probably shares some responsibility for this incident. Was there any security in the area ?
There is never legit security in the MoL. Ever. Again, contrast that with Lakeside. Jeff P cops all over the place.

This whole thing just makes me feel sad for the families, especially
but just the community, something like this is so frightening and disruptive to normality
and in Louisiana everywhere, is still very much a small town so it feels like it's happening nearby for most of you
terrible

Letting the problem deal with itself is a reasonable answer. Just let them hang out in a designated area and don’t interfere when they all start trying to kill each other.

And where does it say that there were security details there?

I was told that everyone that was shot was an innocent bystander.

Stick to your morning routine and you should be fine. They rarely wake up before 11.
Alright let’s not drag all night owls into this - lots of people are wired for late nights/late mornings and aren’t predisposed for subhuman senseless violence.

Which one is that?

But not the prosecutors and judges that let these turds roam free? Cuz it's a guarantee at least a couple were, what's the PC phrase? Justice Involved?
Please.
If the mall "protected" the stores and shoppers from thugs, they'd be shut down on civil rights violations before you could even type out "racist!".
The ONLY protection (outside of our nonexistent justice system) is discrimination. Period.

This is the problem, screw their feelings. Why do we cater to some who will never be productive?
