Suspect arrested in Watson. Is this one of the 5 arrested or a 6th?
Ghetto thug thinking Watson might be the best place to lay low.
Clearly not dealing with Mensa members here.

I want them hung in downtown Lafayette.

This is why rap isn't popular anymore. Between this, blm riots, and body cams, America is tired of cultcha.

Because it looks like the only thing you care about is whether people blame Katrina or not.
Obviously it's a sensitive subject to you, but just maybe now isn't the time to start blasting everyone about it.

Not sure about (C)rap but this is what happens when the pendulum swings too far. Thing is, it will swing back the other way.

The back of the subdivision where they supposedly found him does have a sketchy element.

Blaming the existence and effects of Black Pathology on the aftermath of a decades past storm is kinda ridiculous...

Which one is that?

was pretty bad in the early 90’s when the crack epidemic was taking over. BR had a lot of murders back then, but it was almost all in north BR.
It wasn’t paradise but you could enjoy areas of Airline, Sherwood, Florida Blvd still.
Now it’s just not many safe places at ALL

Very true. I mean the individuals we are talking about still think they are owed something because of something that ended over a century ago.

They're still blaming slavery.

And these people want reparations. They owe US reparations!

Oh, if only this was true.
This country could finally begin to heal.

Nah... it's systemic inequalities now... much like global warming and climate change, the goal posts keep moving with the times.

Wrong. South of I-10 became a shithole the day after Katrina. It was for the most part all in NBR and north of downtown until then.
Does anyone else remember how people in other states were eager to take Katrina evacuees then after they had them for a few days the news was reporting that they were already bringing crime into their cities and residents wanted them gone?

Literally nobody is doing that. The question was asked would this element be here without Katrina. To a poster they said yes, but it would be expanding on a slower timeline
GRT has created a completely false argument that’s being argued against that “This element didn’t exist prior to Katrina”.
Can we all kindly fricking stop gumming up this thread with theoretical and alternative history debates and degrees of systemic blame distribution? For frick’s sake this is tiresome and irritating when most of us are here to try and see if anything new has been posted or reported or known about just what the frick happened

Don’t get old school Houston natives started on Katrina…
