This woman obviously has issues, but she knew what she was doing here..
If she just snapped and went full nuts she would have shot the father as well. They clearly were having issues. It is reported now she just recently moved back in. The police had been out there before. She absolutely wanted to make the father suffer here. If she just snapped from straight mental then she would have shot the husband. This is so intentional. She went out of her way to not shoot him. Even the father pleading out to her to not involve them.
Absolutely horrible.

You ever use the Waggin Tails Pet Ranch? That's good people over there. When we lived in Katy whenever we traveled that's where my pup for him. Was like a vacation for him as well.
Driving out there for 6 years to drop him off, saw Fulshear go from a tiny place, to where Cross Creek started kind of in the middle of nowhere, now Cross Creek is just the next neighborhood headed west as Cinco Ranch stretched out to meet it.
Saw this article today: LINK
Something doesn't sit right with me about the dad. I'd like to think in that situation, I'd confront the mom and try to get the gun from her, rather than run out the house and down the street. Maybe he thought he could get help rather than be shot himself. I dunno.
Terrible situation all around. I'll actually be around there this upcoming weekend, we are going to stay with some friends for a few days in Lakes of Bella Terra.

This story gets a little sadder each time more details are released. Two different news sources are giving some slightly different information.
It appears the mother didn't just snap but planned at least part of this tragedy.

Detectives Monday said Christy Sheats called a family meeting Friday that also included her husband Jason, 45.
When they gathered in the living room, Christy pulled out a gun and shot Taylor and Madison. The girls and their father ran out the front door where Madison collapsed and died.
Taylor ran into the street and Christy Sheats followed, shooting Taylor again, according to detectives. A witness said she went back inside the home to reload the gun.

When a FBCSO detective and Fulshear officer arrived, they saw Sheats shoot Taylor a third time.
Sheats ignored their orders do drop her gun so the officer fired one shot, killing her.

Evil fricking bitch.
And to the poster about Waggin Tails Pet. I know of the place. Never used It though.
Her Facebook page changed to "Remembering" above her name. Some pics have been removed.
5 o'clock news talking now.
Apparently she worked at an office? The boss used term "patients" but I don't know what type patients? How she was sweet when working but volatile and unreliable.
Crazy.

I saw over the weekend where one of her neighbors posted on Facebook that her daughter was best friends with Madison. Madison slept at her house a lot and the post said not to judge her, that the mom has been in chronic pain for a long time and she was abused. The neighbor didn't elaborate further and I went back to look at it and the post was deleted. I don't know if it was true or BS but abuse is no excuse for the horror of what she did. Supposedly she had Crohn's Disease but clearly she suffered from the crazy more than anything else.

Just read on Fox that a friend of the daughters who spoke to Jason Sheets said she shot the daughters because she wanted her husband to suffer.

I choose not to judge the man because there is no way to know how I would respond in that situation. Also they may have made it out of the house because of him, we don't know what happened inside the house yet.
according to reports....she was arguing with her husband on friday afternoon. She had just moved back in from a separation, it was his birthday and both girls were there. The mom convenes a family meeting where she had hidden an antique .38 caliber revolver handgun under the sofa cushion. They all sit down, she threatens him. He allegedly says "why dont you shoot yourself and make it easier for all of us?" she says she is going to punish him instead and she pulls out the gun.
Apparently all three rush for the front door, she shot the youngest daughter, Madison, through the neck and the bullet went through her chest. She shot the older daughter, Taylor, in the head and in the back. All three made it out of the house. The two girls collapsed in the street.
The husband, Jason, went to a next door neighbor to call for help. He then came back out and was heard pleading with his wife to stop.
Christy Sheats had shot five times and hit her daughters three times. It has not been reported where the other two shots went. Madison died on the scene from her wound, Taylor was still alive when the cops showed up.
The mom went inside and reloaded, then was seen by officers walking towards Taylor. A Fulshear PD officer responding to the scene told Christy to drop the weapon, she refused and continued walking towards Taylor. The officer suspected that the mom was going to shoot her daughter again so he shot Christy Sheats once in the chest, killing her.

Like a boss! Hope that poor cop doesn't hang his head for one damn thing. Except maybe being quicker (couldn't have been). Has to suck to shoot a soccer mom. But frick her.
