I considered a house in Dova with a backyard the size of my bathroom which isn't conducive to owning a bird dog. It would have needed painting cause their was coloring on the wall. Ceilings had been patched. My GF had a friend live 3 doors down and was robbed. Hous sold 30 percent over offering and it was bought by an investment company. That is a warning sign to me

Collierville has never been considered the best Memphis suburb, let alone "by a mile".

General point being that Collierville is a perfectly generic suburban high school, but nothing exceptional.

Is this some kind of joke or just ignorance? Collierville just built a brand new high school that’s the largest in the state. Everything about the school is updated and modern.

There is nothing “generic” about it.

There are 13 Merit Scholar semifinalist in the senior class this year.

Your dislike of Collierville is obvious and clouding your post

I drove by Fred Smiths house every day before Covid.
I was this close to being Pitt Hydes brother in law. At that time 240 was the outskirts of town and Germantown was another city altogether. I used to ride my bike in the Litchterman's property when it was their home.

It’s bigger and far nicer than any other public high school in the area. They put a lot of cash into their high school and it shows. They are producing results and are growing as a consequence.

Like I said, it treats its few exceptional students exceptionally well and treats the rest like cattle off to Regional State U on federal loans. Just like most generic suburban high schools do.

Being the nicest public school in a universally shitty area for public schools doesn't make it a great school. It makes it roughly average on the national level. "Updated and modern" is the bare minimum expectation in similar midwestern and mid-Atlantic suburban schools, not something unique to be celebrated. People in the southeast are just so used to the idea of terrible public schools that a remotely decent one seems amazing.

Not a false flag. A workplace dispute and a real tragedy. One of the deceased is a parishioner at my grandparent’s church.

These story about her makes me sad. She seemed like a good person.

Friends of a woman who died in the Collierville grocery shooting have identified her as Olivia King, a longtime resident of the area…

In an interview on the sidewalk near the blocked-off Kroger grocery store, the Frasers said they had known King for years. She was originally from San Antonio and was widowed with three sons: one in the Navy, one in the Air Force and one who had just earned a doctorate, they said.

They said she often attended Catholic mass and had previously worked as a financial secretary at a local school.

"She was just sweet," David Fraser said, and began to cry.

"Kind, polite, thoughtful," Maureen Fraser added, standing beside him. "Remember when you were out of work and she gave us some money? Gave us an envelope with some money to help us at Christmas time."

Her husband had died years earlier. "And she missed him so much," David Fraser said

Prayers for the victims.

When you hear about tragic events like this, you never think about a nice place like Collierville. That’s the nicest part of the Memphis area where all the FedEx people live.

It’s horrible to think that someone could be killed by some disgruntled lunatic while shopping for groceries.

Collierville is a really nice community that people take really good care of. It’s not the kind of place where you think this kind of thing would happen.

Destructive tornado maybe. But not this.

Two of her sons were in the Famous Maroon Band at MSU. I used to see her all the time at concerts and football games. She was a huge supporter of her boys.
