If it wasn’t the ones whose convictions were tossed and not put back on trial due to only dna found not being one of the 4 it is surprising they haven’t found any one else.
DNA salvaged supposedly could match thousands of males, but it seems like they would be narrowing down possibilities. I can’t see anyone committing such a brutal crime not being arrested for something afterwards that would put DNA in system. In 2022 there was some announcement that a new dna test was going to help investigation, but I don’t think any real progress has been reported since.
