I can't stop you from posting this, but please don't assume it was a love triangle. The woman killed earlier was in Gautier, five hours away - it is far more likely that Dr. Schmidt was a workplace rival of sorts, or the two had a disagreement.
Academia is a strange bunch. There are professors on my campus that will literally try to destroy another one because their view on something random differs.

Yep. Social media is a hinderance sometimes.
According to officials, the guy walked in to Dr. Schmidt's office, shot him in the head and hasn't been seen since. There was no second shooter, no hostages, at no time students were involved. A professor shot another professor. We may never know why.
I suspect they will find his body at some point.

Yea, think that's the gist of it. I heard everything from multiple shooters and hostages to blacks uprising and killing all the white teachers. Crazy how shite gets skewed so quick.

I'll be surprised if they find him alive. At the presser, I thought they said they didn't believe he was still on campus, but his car was. I may have heard it incorrectly. Sounded like he's probably involved in the Gauthier murder.
The professor's murder appears to be very personal. The deceased professor sounds to be a great guy and family man, so it doesn't seem that he'd be involved in love triangle.
I'm thinking the shooter's body is somewhere on campus, but simply hasn't been found yet.

I didn't say anything about a love triangle. I was referring to Shannon Lamb as a possible jilted lover, not Gautier.
I mean, it's possible, but I don't know. But when a man kills a woman it's usually got something to do with what's between her legs and either not getting it or someone else getting it.

Well, didn't this shooter know that Delta State University was a gun-free zone and he wasn't supposed to have any guns on campus?
