What law or regulation would stop a 18-21 year old with a clean record from walking into a store and buying a gun?
One that says you have to be 27?

It’s very easy to play the vague “gun regulation” card with no specifics. The fact is that any attempt to chip away at the 2A has the intent to remove them completely.
These people have no clue what gun laws are in place in this country, nor do they care.
No matter what they tell you, their ultimate goal is to have guns completely banned. Their favorite tactic is to say they don't want to ban guns, they just want you to have to keep them at a range or police station and have to check them out and used at a range then immediately returned after use or something to that effect.

Why do you pick that arbitrary number and how will that prevent gun crime?

And why do you pick that arbitrary number? And what makes you think a criminal is going to bother following that law?
"You know, I was going to murder a bunch of people today, but since I will now have to break a law to get a gun, I don't think I will"
Rock solid logic there.

let's focus on those factors first before we start turning non-criminal law abiding citizens into felons overnight.
I mean it's perfect if you want to lock up those of a certain political persuasion.
Certain demographics will be exempt because it would be racist to disarm them, naturally.
But all of that aside, banning guns would just turn the USA into Mexico. Mexico banned guns too. A year later the first cartels came into existence.
Look it up. Same exact thing would happen here.

You know this “mental health advocate” is going to come back with some bullshite about “mental health screenings” “red flag laws” “mandatory therapy sessions” or some shite like that.
Of course, big R Retard is completely ignoring the fact that if you tie mental health screenings to gun purchases, you will instantly make mental healthcare unaffordable and unobtainable for the hyper majority of people.
There are about 200,000 therapists in the US right now. There are about 80,000 practicing psychologists.
Nearly 20 million guns purchased last year.
That would mean each of the 200,000 therapist would need to see roughly 20 million more individuals in the next calendar year.
The vast majority of these individuals will not need psychiatric help.
HOWEVER.
Those that DO need psychiatric help will be priced out and unable to get a timely session due to the overwhelming number of new “gun purchase flagging” that needs to be handled.
Know what that means?
Poor Tom and amber who lost their child won’t be able to talk about it with their therapist.
The bi polar kid can’t get his meds.
The suicidal veteran won’t be able to talk about his horrors.
You (unclassy student) are such a big R Retard.

The shooter talked about in this very thread was 33 years old

Brain development is done by this point. You could pick the average age of the typical criminal or mass shooter and add a few years. Idk, get creative, be problem solvers

16 year old gangbangers kill people all the time, but a new law will surely prevent that

People like you should be sterilized to prevent your big R retard genes from passing on to the next generation.

I know you didn’t read it. It would destroy your world.
Imagine being so mentally frail you won’t spend 20 seconds reading a post

We could consider getting rid of DAs who openly and pridefully refuse to prosecute crime
I'm just spitballing here, might be too crazy to work, idk

Neither the psychologist or therapist can prescribe meds. You're thinking of psychiatrists which is not the same thing.
So you're sort of right, but the numbers are actually worse

This might be the laziest logic I've ever seen. You must have a job in academia.
