It's rather obvious America has a problem with random mass shootings on a much larger scale than basically every other country, and politicians on both side don't care one bit to fix it but people will still worship their side and pretend otherwise.

I can’t believe I am agreeing (sort of) with a statement by Megyn Kelly, but yes the gun war has already been lost, much like the drug war. Government can’t regulate emotions and societal mores. Only society does that, for good and ill, and this society is sick, but it isn’t just the thugs, the atheists, the commies, the racists; It is everyone who constantly takes everything so personally as a sign of disrespect. Just read a bit of most of the threads on this site. So many are so damn pissed off someone else thinks differently from them or acts differently than they would act or looks differently or isn’t as rich or as body conscious as they should be or dares to not give a shite what they think is important. The guns, the bombs, the other weapons, and even the cars, they just allow a very convenient opportunity to do something that makes them feel “more like a man and not a victim” as so many on here claim is what they should do, despite also constantly claiming to be Christian. In the end the problem is still people suck. We always have to some extent.
