According to Fox KARD channel 9 this cold front is about to jack up crawfish prices

I think if they discovered crawfish gave you AIDS and terminal cancer it would raise prices.

There was an article that came out a few days ago saying crawfish season will be good this year.
Of course this weekend would be a pretty stupid way to judge crawfish prices.

Just should be a year with plenty of crawfish. Consumer wins, but I supposed the farmer will be alright too.

I mean I get it, yeah insert ______ makes crawfish prices go up... but mid-20s in the middle of January isn't exactly that abnormal.

I doubt it
Price $3 on the farm 3 weeks ago, fell to $2 two weeks ago and has climbed back to $3 since catch has gone down/ demand has gone up. Demand won’t be good this weekend so doubt it climbs any and if it warms back up after next week prices will be $2.50 or lower by Super Bowl
