IMO, an hour is the absolute top for any event....hell, I can go to a damn good concert and I am bored after an hour.

So for lsu games you get there in the second and leave in the third?

I don't know but should definitely be inversely proportional to venue temperature.

Also to the ability of the seats to recline.

Personally I think aisle up to aisle down should never exceed 15 minutes.

Sucks never to enjoy going to the movies. Or a ball game.

Went to a wedding 20 years ago that will always be my favorite.
It was outdoors. Late afternoon. Hot as hades.
Mosquitoes were a thick cloud of hell.
Bride and groom walked down, threw rings on, said "I do", kissed and hauled arse.
2 minutes.

Worst was a Catholic wedding. 1.5 hours. Shoot me in the face.

It should take, especially if there is Mass, however long it takes. There is and should be no time limit, or game-clock. This is the rest of your life we're talking about here. Committing yourselves to each other for a lifetime, it's as important of a step as you'll ever take in all your years, most likely, no rushing it.

Most guys here spend more time negotiating a car or truck, or spending time at a football game. That's messed-up in the grand scheme of life.

My wedding was the exactly the same in 2005.
It wasn't Catholic or Baptist.
It wasn't a mass or ceremony.

15 minutes and out the doors.

Unless you're Catholic and include mass, about an hour.

Biggest reason I won't go to a Catholic wedding.

In and Out. Get on with it.

Getting married in November and not planning for more than 20 minutes. We only have the venue 3 hours, I'd rather spend that partying.

30-45 min tops. And if you're an a-hole that has an outside ceremony in the summer AND you go over 30 min, I'm taking gift back.
