AC repair recommendations in BR?

AC unit making a buzzing noise. I can hear it trying to kick on but then stops. Outside fan is running but the attic unit does nothing.
Capacitor? I wouldn't know how to change it regardless. Who should I call that will not rip me off? TIA

Possibly the contactor has crud on it. It would be the thing with about 4 wires on it next to the capacitors. Some of the older ones have a button you can press to test it.

I called Carl Rogers/Southeast Heating and Air from a OT Lounge recommendation. There are probably other good choices out there but I won't personally call anybody else.
