AC power flickering

What is the OT position on whether to turn off modern AC unit if power is blipping? Obviously want to keep AC on as long as possible but is flickereing a few times every 10 minutes.

Once the power starts flickering I turn the AC off.

If it flicks, A/C musta quit.

Turn it off. You can damage your compressor if it starts/stops frequently too much. I’m an HVAC/R tradesman.

Mine has a failsafe where they it delays a restart…I think 5 mins
