There have been 33 seasons of the Bachelor/Bachelorette, and this is the first black bachelor/Bachelorette, so that is 3% of the seasons. Not sure why people are acting like this is sjw or liberal

Because anything outside their norm is an agenda being shoved down their throats.

I expected more of a melt in this thread. I'm kind of disappointment

This Bachelorette is actually acceptable but if they want rating drama they need to find a different character type set than the black barbie here.

I won't go where you want this to go

Happy for the young lady & glad she's getting this opportunity.

Rachel Lindsay, a Texas attorney, and current contestant on Nick Viall's The Bachelor, will be announced as the next Bachelorette

so what they're saying is that she didn't win and find true love in this season that she is still in?

Hyperbole much?

I was strictly talking about society and the shite Hollywood shoves down our throat.

I'm all for normal diversity

apologies. this is tRant, lots of suppressed racism gets unfurled on here, i didn't think it that far of a reach.

I've been wondering (but not too much, waste of brain processing time).

I haven't really watched this sort of show but do you think these people really hook up (horizontally) on these shows?

Or is mostly..or completely as real as "wrasslin"?

Bout time. Was talking to my SO and this was the excuse to why I'll never watch the show with her. Now I have to invent another one.

My excuse was it was a waste of time because the couples hardly ever actually stay together anyways

So now she makes me watch food network to rack up brownie points

Oh yeah. I've seen the shite here and there - thank God my wife doesn't watch the crap. But yeah, when it gets to the end, the Bachelor takes each of the finalists on an "overnight date". Bill Simmons used to joke how those women had to go all out sexually for that. I mean, that's why you go on that show...to get TV exposure and hook up with good-looking people.

I just wish some dude would go on there and just straight up say "I bet my boy Larry $5,000 I can bang 10 of these chicks." Every time a girl says "Oh, I really bonded with Gavin. I think he's my soulmate." they cut to the a-hole going "Five."

Haha...

Hmm soo that means on the Bachelorette version all the chick has at least a partially confirmed "D-count"

The final 4 is pretty obvious at this point and I hardly pay attention

Rachel will be a final 4
That crazy blonde for ratings probably
Raven

Then Danielle or Vanessa

She seems normal as hell on the show and pretty cool.

Successful attorney and her dad is a judge in Texas. And she's really pretty in a weird way.

Great body too.
