It’s honestly surprising the city still exists with a fairly large (but drastically declining) population. Who the hell grows up in Pine Bluff and stays? Little Rock is 45 minutes down the road. GTFO.

I was born in Pine Bluff but raised in Sheridan.
Both sides of family came from Helena and my grandfather on my mom's side moved to Camden back in the early 80s until 2000.

It reminds me when my family lived in West Helena, the black folks couldn't wait when the white folks would leave. It finally began to happen when Mohawk Tire closed for good in the early 80s. Soon white flight began.

I couldn't eat in places like Helena or Pine Bluff. They are not only rude but if you happen to be white and you argue with them about the order then they probably would spit in your food.

They don't like white liberals at all. They see them as condescending and look down on them. Everyone else they either tolerate or are fine with just as long as you don't say or do something stupid.
