When I was a kid, stopped by a yard wile on a walk one day. Bought a full band autographed "Far beyond driven" pantera CD for $3.

Sometimes you can find cool shite.

I always tell myself I'm going to go look to see if I can make some undervalued finds and deals at these things, but I'm too lazy to get around to it. Seems like it would be fun.

People bought the school uniforms at a garage sale? Seems like it would be a tough sell.

No shite. We had a garage sale when I was a kid. While the sale was going on, my Mom brings out a bunch of underwear I had outgrown to toss in the trash. Someone offered to buy them for 5 cents each.
I heard somewhere that people with foster children like to go to garage sales - you can get toys and clothes for real cheap and sometimes it's good stuff. Last garage sale I participated in, there were a couple of groups of what looked like foster children.

We had one in my old apartment building years ago, everybody just took their shite up front and drank while people bought shite.

Anyway, I drank too much the night before and passed out in a hammock outside. I was woken up by an angry old woman at five AM asking violently when the garage sale would start and how much jewelry would be for sale.

Those people are the worst.
