Same story, both more or less on point, posted less than a week apart, yet 5/0 and 0/22, respectively. I am simultaneously amused and puzzled. You could say I'm bemused. Should I have left on a high note, though 5 upvotes isn't much of one?

Neither of your stories made sense in the context of the OP.

Getting 5 upvotes was pure luck.

Sounds to me like you worry too much about upvotes/downvotes.

Just tell your story and let the chips fall where they may.

Sometimes someone will post something and get downvoted, then someone will quote it and just simply agree with it and get upvoted. Crazy shizz

You never know when to go long or short a post. This market is unbelievably volatile, believe me.

What kind of car has no room for a small drink? Any spare room between your thighs when you sit?

The upvote/downvote bandwagon is a real phenomenon. I intend to go one way with my vote and notice the other side has the overwhelming majority and go along with that.

The first few voters usually dictate the voting course.

Cupholders were occupied, and I ain't holding a drink between my thighs. They always overfill and hand you a cup with sticky syrup running down the sides. But you're missing the point. Why wouldn't she let me refuse the drink, no questions asked? Where's the sense in that? What happened to the customer is always right?

POS stealing other people's stories.

I see people get called out for this on Reddit all the time. "Stealing karma" I think they call it. I didn't think this site was big enough for anybody to think they could get away with that here though.

How autistic do you have to be to steal somebody's story about ordering a $4 fast food deal at a drive thru?

Are you saying he stole my story? Where's your evidence?
