I think there should simply be tiered sections, much like movie ratings: Childen’s, young Adult, and adult. Any literature with graphic sex scenes, illicit drug use, excessive swears, and homosexual scenes is labeled adult. Basically, if the movie would be rated R, the book is adult.
You can access the YA books when you turn 13. That’s the equivalent of a PG-13 movie. There might be some romance, violence, etc, but nothing graphic or explicit. Most novels will fit in this category.
I have never worked in a library that is NOT organized like this - but I’ve heard about places that basically have no restrictions

Evolution is precisely what all this is about. Back in the day the library was the source of collected knowledge. If it wasn’t at the library, you’d have to seek it out specifically and knowingly with great effort.
Now we have the wealth of all collected knowledge (and gobs more of stupid) at the tips of our fingers in an instant.
The library isn’t going to have every book ever. Hell they’ve banned classics because they have outdated words and terms in them.
But the only thing that matters is that anyone who opposes the progressives jihad for the minds of our children is trampled and made an example to frighten others.
They’ve made it quite clear they are out to spread the social contagion of gender nonsense to your child’s mind.
They want your teenager wondering if she should cut her tits off because she doesn’t like dolls anymore. They want your kids enriching the coffers of the mengele Medicals by pumping their developing bodies full of unnatural hormones, destroying their natural processes and forever scarring them.
It is absolutely evil.

Books shouldn't be banned from public libraries. That shouldn't be debated. I get the notion that some of these books aren't great for our kids. The problem lies in the people in charge. If people who agreed that these books are bad are in charge and ban them, that sets the foundation for when the other side eventually takes charge. They can and will start banning Bibles, things about science and two genders, etc. If books are mature in nature, having an age restriction without parental consent is understandable. We just can't banned from libraries though.

Why spend our tax dollars on this junk ?
If you want it buy it yourself.
How about spending our tax dollars on equipment that will reach our young a worthwhile trade .

i would like to know if this was something a teenager was considering, rather than them hiding it on their laptop a physical book would be easier to spot the cry for help.

Leftists have already pulled plenty of books from libraries across the country for their defined version of hate speech. Which is anything not approved by the DNC.
Where have you been?
Starting banning stuff? Already done.

Remember back in the day when you went rent a movie and the the movie rental place had section in the back where you had to be 18+ to look at, but no one really paid attention if anyone under 18 was going look at them and you would go down that aisle real fast to take a peak at the cover?

I think there is a big difference between banning books and age-restricting books. Progressives are trying to throw muck at conservatives for wanting to take sexually explicit books out of SCHOOL libraries. There is no reason why sexually explicit content should be in k-12 libraries that are only used by children. Meanwhile, they’re trying to straight up ban classics like Huckleberry Finn due to anachronistic slurs. The left always accuses its opponents of doing what they are doing.

Why not try to find what monster is planting these despicable ideas in their head in the first place? These are not natural thoughts. There’s a reason this bullshite is up like 4000% in girls.
It’s being pushed on them. They are being brainwashed

In liberal arse communities. Which they are running. Which proves my point entirely. In our conservative area in which most laws have a more conservative background, if we allow books to start getting banned, we are making it easier if they do manage to take over.

Serious question, which ones?

I go to the library pretty regularly and the kids section is the only section that is ever busy.
Adults just find the book they want online and reserve it then go pick it up.

I literally just checked CPL's catalog, and all the Seuss books in question are still there.

You cant get your hands on them. They have them in reference storage.
There are many other libraries that pulled them from circulation too all over the country
Just one example too
Only ever hear the left talk about book banning when it stops them from pedophilia. Strange coincidence I am sure.

Yes you can. You go and ask for it or go to the reference section. That is what reference is. You just can't take it home.
