What terrible things is your child doing, exactly?

It's a form of therapy so yeah. Or add it to education. You can get a better idea from your tax person but I'm pretty positive it's tax deductible as long as it goes into something that accumulates enough money to be considered a deduction.

Disobedient, getting in personal space of other kids more than normal, pushing kids down on playground. None of this is out of anger, he's just hyperactive as shite and very impulsive. We're being told he's a textbook case of ADHD but with his age I'm reluctant to bring any meds into the picture. He's a tad behind maturity wise as well, still has moments of fits.
He's been introduced to the belt, so the bratty fits have stopped at home and school (for the most part).

If he has ADHD then the things he is learning through behavioral therapy he will use for a lifetime. Way better investment than meds IMO.

honestly, with that kind of money at stake, I would probably have a professional do my taxes this year, as it could either save you a hell of a lot of money or keep you out of an audit...or both...

too bad your child has to be in daycare. does he exhibit this type behavior at home?

A little but not near as much as school. I think part of the reason is that his teachers are pushovers, and he is a very smart and clever kid and knows how to take advantage of them.
We've had a recent chat with the director of the day care to discuss discipline, and the past couple of weeks have been very good.

Pretty sure medical expense is your only option, I don't know of any educational deductions/credits for 4 year old except child care credit that's probably already maxed out with daycare cost.

Yeah we have a refundable and non-refundable child care credit, but you also have to be part of a daycare that is accredited in some way.
As for the rest, yeah I dunno, I do motor fuels.

If you are paying $360 a week, pay a CPA $100 to do your taxes.

Is that for a Chiropractor?

Is your kid an only child? Hasn't been around a lot of kids before this? Was he in in-home day care by himself?
If so, a lot of this could be due to basic socialization- which is a HUGE part of what pre-school targets.
