A few days ago I saw some crippled guy park in one of our spaces - shouldn't we do something about that too?

Challenge her to a foot race. Make sure you brag about your 5k time beforehand.

If you are in Louisiana, a person using one of those tags would be required to have a picture ID proving they are the handicapped person to whom the tag was issued. Tell them the building security likes to have a copy of the card so they know who's using the spot. Don't worry, I promise you won't be breaking any privacy laws.

Where did you go, OP? We know you aren't doing any actual "work".

She has one of those mirror tags, but from looking at her she isn't handicapped? Moves around fine. I've been watching her eyesight, appears to be normal. No glasses, doesn't squint. What's the best course of action here?

It's not your job to do anything and you're potentially opening yourself up to a shitstorm if she's legitimately handicapped. If your boss cares so much, let him investigate.

Evidently it is easy to get handicap tags.

For me it's pretty obvious. I think I had to get a letter from my doctor. But this is what I don't get. With a ramp van I just need a space where my ramp can go down and I can get out of (that's what the handicap spots with the blue hashmarks on side of them are for), but the problem I have is people parking in the hashmark area,

Everyone tries to get a close as possible. People will ride around the parking lot to find a parking spot that is two spots closer to the store.. I don't care where I park as long as I can get in and out without jackasses parking on side of me so a lot of times.. if I go to a store or an event with a big parking lot, I will make my own space. I'll go park towards the back near a light post and park where I can get out but no one can pull in. I can get through a parking lot quicker than most people so it doesn't bother me, but unless you have some type of issue where you can't walk for too long or need to be close to the entrance for weather purposes, etc... Why are people so hung up on trying to get the closes parking spot possible.

People get excited about being with someone and able to park in a handicap parking lot. Is it really that big of a deal to walk a little further?

Does the person have a temporary tag? Either way, if she has a legal parking tag then there really isn't anything that can be done.

Block the spots off for a few days and wait for her aquire about it and maybe she will reveal why she needs it.. Do other people use the handicap parking? I have always been the only person at work that uses a handicap spot.
