They sound like very responsible gun owners. Let’s punish them.

My firearms never got any school kids shot, either.

But the right did.

There are people who bought arms protected by the 2A who went to shoot kids. They exerted the same right you have to buy firearms.

I'm going to assume the military never moved into your home and property without your consent. Should we just get rid of 3A?

Would quartering soldiers upset the status quo? Yes.

So repealing the 3A and the just quartering the soldiers would upset the status quo.

My point is do you use the guns you own so often that you’re saying to day would be upset by their removal?

This will be relevant as soon as someone posts about protecting their right to drink and drive

Then shut the frick up about "for the children" and advocating "common sense gun control legislation" and fricking do it.

Advocating for anything else is you signaling you don't give two shits about the Amendment process and Constitution as a whole, and just want to ram home your opinion on the matter through government fiat.

People who bought guns protected by the 2A who shot home invaders, car jackers, armed robbers, domestic abusers, child rapists...all in numbers vastly exceeding those killed as innocents.

Yes and you are more than welcome to walk your coward arse up to my house and demand them from me. Do it.

Also, are you then advocating for the abolishment of any right through which harm was done?

Yeah it’s 1 in every 100 American annually according to Kelk. Seems reasonable.

Can I bring mine over there, too? That way he can get us both at the same time?

That seems to be your go-to, declare intellectual superiority and knowledge on a subject without qualifying it. And maybe I would consider your confidence to be indicative of underlying competency on the subject matter, except just a few pages ago you showed your arse trying to pull that same intellectual superiority card on another poster despite not bothering to read the very paragraph you were holding up as irrefutable proof to your argument. Meanwhile, the actual paragraph in context, implies heavily that the "research" in question you were holding up is in fact highly contested and questionably designed and executed. That subsequent research and attempts at validation have concluded it's methodology and results to be, for lack of a better word, absurdist.

So forgive me for calling into question both your own subject matter competency on this topic, and assertions therein.

There isn't any organized response in the preceding years that is all that similar. The reference for me should be The Troubles in the UK or the Years of Lead in Italy. It's not hard to imagine violence at all, but it is hard to imagine a well-organized violence on a large scale.

Just to be clear here, you are implying you will murder someone if the poster in question came to your home and demanded your guns verbally.

You wouldn't just laugh and shut the door on his face and tell him to get off your property or you'll call the police, you'll just kill him?

He just likes to pretend he’s a rough guy by proposing a situation where he feels completely protected.

Oh you feel brave in your home with a gun pointed at someone who’s anti-guns?

Congrats

you don't seem to be convincing anyone here of anything and only getting further upset. maybe it's time to take a break.
