Same here. Minus the Scion. I think I'm a fairly confident person, but it was hard to approach women and ultimately end up telling them that you worked in retail and/or were still in school.

I've been out of college for about 5 years now and it's much easier to approach women when you're established and have a career. I'm certainly not a 10, but those other attributes can take you a long way with women.

Even on this site, we have guys making great money who are foreveralones. You seem like one of them

Married to a woman who balloned after law school, and I'm basically broke.

So you are kinda right?

I just don't know how this is possible. Typically, unless someone is some kind of savant entreprenuer/innovator, you can't make great money without some decent measure of social skills.

Those nice bars seem like a great place to pick up women though. Ruffino's bar on a Friday night is stacked if you like hot older divorced women.

Yeah, this is pretty much a rule for me. Hell, I didn't take my ex wife to Keith Young's till maybe four years into the marriage and we already had one kid.

What's wrong with wining and dining guys? Bare minimum, you got a great meal

The same way women use men for "financial stability". Hooker! (Not judging)

I've developed a fun/enjoyable way to eat and have a drink without being expected to take someone to a nice joint. Start off a date with something physical (I prefer hiking and bouldering) for a few hours, then offer up a beer and pub food at some place close. No woman wants to go out to someplace nice after getting sweaty, and you want one who can enjoy 'the basics'.

I won't lie - I'm a boujee bitch. I like a good atmosphere and an excuse to dress up. But I love treating people and would totally pay on a date if it meant an evening somewhere nicer vs. sitting next to a screaming child at Sammy's.

It still works. None of the ones I've taken out have been nervous or reluctant. Not like I'm taking them to the middle of a national forest.
