you can protest it if it's that close to your property. not saying you'll be successful, but you can fight it

don't you think it would be important to the case or the article to include that they were fighting it from the beginning? it's clear they weren't until they got sick

Hmm, perhaps they didn't know enough then to know it was the cause, given that the fracking companies will often not disclose all of the chemicals used in the process, designating them as "proprietary" such that it is not even capable of measuring with testing.

Obviously.

okay. what does that have to do with this?

they could have protested a well being so close to their house. they obviously didn't since it isn't mentioned in the suit or article and the wells were drilled. why is that hard to understand?

A first? Fracking tied to family illness

I thought this was going to be an article about a broke family with a sick kid, whose the father had to go work in Dickinson, ND to pay medical bills.

They might have a case with the VOCs, but it isn't related to the fracking

Fracking is a terribly dangerous thing and and the process that govt and these corps use to deceive and circumvent the owners of the land it effects is disgusting.

We really need to figure out another source of fuel. Maybe if we had scientists work on that instead of advancements in unnecessary plastic surgery and other bullshite we could actually have some human growth in our lifetime. Sadly the American dream and the days of America leading the world as the cutting edge of technology and knowledge are dead. The days of American children dreaming of being astronauts and scientists are dead and gone. And our generations get lazier. And our government gets bigger. And the people who have the power to stop it have taken an attitude of helping themselves instead of helping others. It's sad really.

If you don't have the means to fight it, these things happen in your backyard.
