Not putting his forearm around her neck/chest, grabbing her leg, and flipping her and the entire desk over and then grabbing her arm and leg and using that to throw/drag her across the floor?

This isn't just any police officer, it's a school resource officer, who should have proper training in how to restrain students who are being disobedient to the point of requiring force.

One could argue that the desk-flipping was a result of him trying to restrain her and her resisting, but once she was flipped over and he grabbed her and threw her any sympathy I had for that guy went out the window. He clearly let the child's attitude get the best of him, lost his cool, and chose to use a type of force that wasn't required to restrain her.

Also, how long do you think this girl was a disruption to class before that security officer had to get involved? Do you think if the teacher said "report to the principals office" she would've listened?

They both said that their policy is to clear the room if a LE were to be called in to handle a student. Even if no extra class room is available. Just take them all down the hall. The reason being that under no circumstance do you want video footage taken of what might have to take place to handle the situation. I was happy to hear that they both use common sense.
