That's taking it too far, I agree. However, if my kids want to peck me on the lips, I'm not going to stop them but I will not willingly go out of my way to do it to them.

My son is 3 and will run up and kiss me on the lips.

My daughter gives me a peck on the lips every now and then. Sometimes it weirds me out a little, but then I think about all of the kids that leave this world way too soon.
And then I don't mind it at all.

We just did this thread last week I think.
And that doctor seems to have a bit of a perverted side to him/her for even thinking of it in those terms. Kinda gross on the doctor's part IMO.

The dad/daughter or mom/son aren't remotely thinking anything sexual, I don't see what the issue is.

Somebody else said it, but I'll say it again. I bathe my little baby girl and change her diapers. If kissing on the lips with no thought of anything sexual is bad, somebody call the police on me right now.

That doc is either an idiot, a perv, or both. There's nothing remotely sexual about an innocent peck on the lips between a parent and their child.
