All the haters. I'll give my son & daughter a peck on the lips all I want and IDGAF. Obviously this will not continue past the age of 6 for my kids, but if they want to give me a kiss, then I'm not going to tell them no.

Edit: Since I am sure my profile pic will come into question, if you've ever tried to pose with your child in a photo you know you have to hold it. I'm not trying to swallow my son's face. Just wanted to make sure that the picture we got was clear and came out good.

I'll never understand a person not telling their kids that they love them or showing them affection. Just doesn't make sense. Some of you are "weirded out" too easily. Nothing wrong with giving your kids a little peck on the lips. No one in my house will ever have to wonder if they're loved, because they are shown love everyday. If you think that's weird, maybe you should re-examine yourself. Maybe you're the weird one.

Haven't we gone thru this already? Who gives a frick what some doc says about how you raise your children. My older kids are 30 now and I still kiss my daughters on the lips and my son his cheek.

That's how we got this generation of pussies, parents trying to make their kids feel loved all the time. The world isn't going to love them and I'm preparing them for that harsh reality.

It’s just too confusing. If mommy kisses daddy on the mouth and vice versa, what does that mean, when I, a little girl or boy, kiss my parents on the mouth?

you can replace kiss in this sentence with anything, right? ride in a car, etc.

Thats why my 4 year old rides in the trunk

we just had this thread last week

apparently I'm a pervert for kissing my 2 year old on the mouth before bed

a "peck" on the lips is not sexual
I agree.. I think it depends on the age of the child.. a peck on the lips to a small child is nothing... now, if a dad is kissing his 15 yr old daughter on the lips, that may be a little different. Same with mom and teen son.
