The Gray Estate. That's sad.

Which trailer park is it in?

His original restaurant is falling apart, guess he’ll sell that one if this passes. The “Who’s who” of LC is going to try and shut this down

If it doesn’t involved a casino or plant, LC doesn’t wanna hear it.

The lady quoted in the article is the definition of NIMBY. She states she is on the business development council in one sentence and in the next says she doesn’t want this on her street.

No, the Gray Estate is already an event space.

Seems like there would be a zoning issue.

Next thing you know, the nicest house in north Baton Rouge will turn Section 8. There goes the neighborhood.

No way will this happen and it shouldn't. That house is an absolute gem.

Was it not KPLC that listed Oliver "Rick" Richard as the owner of the house and said that he was unavailable for comment?
Mr. Richard has backed downtown development for many years. I don't think that he is of old Lake Charles money. He installed a drinking fountain across the street several years ago for joggers, walkers, and their pets. The residence is on a nine acre lot. I hope he gets his way.
It should be intesting, nontheless.

You're right. 80% of Shell Beach is old money. He's one of the few that isn't. He use to be a CEO for a fortune 500 company in Houston. I guessing it was just really hard to maintain
