A bunch of midwesterners coming on down south

We married my sister off to a midwestern dude. I'm still a little drunk.
He brought about 100 people south with him to the wedding (talk about Groomzilla). Very few of them had ever been to the south before and they were floored. Almost to a person, they said that southerners were much nicer and friendly. They even hinted that I was more friendly in my natural habitat.
They noted there was more history and stuff to see.
Pretty much all of them have said they'd make it a priority to come back and visit!.
I just think it's interesting people could have such a visceral reaction to being in the south. I wish I could live back down here full time.

Things I would recommend:
Suffocating heat and humidity
Pterodactyl sized mosquitos

There were also no fat people really around so they didn't get that culture shock of how fat people are down here in general

Cool. Crazy how many polish are up that way. Yrs ago when I lived in chicago it was said to have the 2nd largest population of pols outside of Warsaw.
