SuperSaint sure felt the need to try to make it that way. But yea, let's pile on Darth.

OP, sorry for the terrible news. As a rider, this is my worst nightmare and always has me on the fence about retiring from street riding. Hopefully he beats the odds.

I think the family was asking for a second opinion. That's all I know. Been a tough week for his family.

So he is still hanging on?

ETA: Been praying for him. Heartbreaking to hear he has a wife and kiddos. Hoping for a miracle.

Look there are ways to ride that offer a great deal of comfort fun and safety. I never drive in town, never. I only travel too or from the interstate system, more than one lane all going in the same direction. No left turns possible. Good room with double service roads, one each side, that with a bike push come to shove you got alternatives.

I am selling mine and looking for a sidecar rig

Lost a friend with 2 young kids a few years back in Slidell. He was on a sport bike and had no business being on that type of bike. I preferred keeping it on the track.

I met up with my best friend growing up. As i lit a cigarette,(i know trashy)he says you know thats going to kill you one day. I said yep and pointed to his bike and said that will too , he agreed. A month later he got killed on his bike on 90 by Le Triomphe . I wish i was wrong. We all are going to die one day , we choose what dangers in life to take. He died doing what he loved to do ,going too fast . It's sucks to remember those were the last words i told him. He knew one day his need to go fast would catch up with him.

same exact thing happened to a buddy of mine in 2006. We lost him three days later. It's still sad.

Dear Mother of God. I just found out who this is and I am heavy in the chest from shock and sadness. One of his sons spent a lot of time with our family and traveled with us. I am crushed. I hate motorcycles and my son is hell bent on getting one. RIP DR and I will pray for your family.
