I forgot it used to be called IGA. Yeah, they have good stuff there now. Lots of cool imported food and beverages from all over the world.

Anybody ever hit up the little hippie place over here by the dmv?
It's like an herbal vitamin nerd vegetarian hippy dump, but it has really good chicken salad sandwiches.
That's all I've ever had from there anyway. They have other things. Every sandwich on the menu is served with sprouts.

I think that snowball stand next to Sonic was named Sugar and Spice. Hammertime, if you went to school with one of the Acquistipaces then I graduated SPS around the same time you were there.
Lee's shell across the street from Badeaux's was the best place to get an inspection sticker. If your car started and the horn worked, you were golden.

I remember the Aquistipace's. (Sp) kids and the hot mom.
Me and the neighborhood kids called the dad Turtle.
Hahahahaha.

Anybody mentioned the original RA shop? Had to have. Too long, didn't read the whole thread.
Don't care.

I played a round with Adam a month ago.
Me, Zeb, and Adam. He played rugby with us for a little while. He quit. He was a good Baw though.

the original pizza man was a boss. he hammed it up so much for all of the kids. he would throw flour at the window and draw faces with pepperoni. he had a long, grey ponytail. he was the main guy there for 25+ years. his son or nephew has since taken over. still does the same things though.
i went there recently with a friend of mine and his 4 year old. she stood on the little step for the kids that aren't quite tall enough and he went through his whole routine. making faces and throwing ingredients at the window. it was awesome and made me glad that they still do that stuff for the kids.

I know Adam runs the wine and liquor part. It's quite the operation.

if you're talking about the one that was out by Poole Lumber, it closed down after Katrina and may have been the saddest day of my life.
the little drumsticks that they sold in buckets of like 50 were incredible and the best drunk food.
one of the women that worked there started working at the Chevron station near Acquistapace's and would make the chicken there. but now that's closed down too.
