I said to my friend that sent me the link. Every kid remembers that commercial…no one remembers actually playing the game
My cousin had it. The commercial was way better than the game.

I also played Goldeneye a few months ago for the first time since probably 1998. I sucked arse. I was very disappointed in myself.

Born in 1980 and thankful for it. We had electronics but not to the extent that it dominated your life.
Childhood was mostly outdoors.
So many kids today are just pale indoor vampires. Absolutely helpless outdoors and real world problem solving is non existent.

There are still songs that when I hear them, I am right back to a 6th grade sock hop where I'm praying to the Lord Almighty that she feels my energy and makes the first move because I'm such a pussy.

The fatcats at Big Commercial thought that we were too fricking stupid to be able to tell that they marginally changed the lyrics between the two commercials. They thought that the child consumers had no idea what was going on. But we knew. We all knew.

I had the Crossfire game. It was not that fun.

As a kid of the late 70s and early 80s, I think the kids of the 90s were the last generation to grow up in a time when it was awesome to be a kid.

The ad had me thinking it would come with a leather jacket and brass knuckles. In real life it might as well have been hungry hippos lol

What a time to be alive. Games were great, neighborhoods were safe, and cartoons were incredible.
